Naveen Mahajan, IAS

All human beings are born with dignity and rights to take part in government
especially in the field of electoral democratic system. We seek active
cooperation of all stakeholders of Rajasthan for setting up a truly citizen
friendly, transparent and fair Electoral System. We also seek suggestions for
further improving the system and increasing public satisfaction.
Election Department, Rajasthan is reaching out to the people to provide better
services in terms of Electoral Rolls, Voter cards, creating electoral awareness,
bringing transparency in the system, citizen friendly approach and better
management of electoral data. We are committed to make efforts to further
streamline electoral processes and provide maximum information online to ensure
free flow of communication to stakeholders.
Election cannot be viewed as an isolated event, but is a part of a holistic
process for promoting democratic governance. Greater public awareness and
outreach capacity, transparency, capacity building and empowerment of the
citizens are the key areas which are being emphasized by the Election
Department. Adding the electors, updating and sanitising the Electoral Rolls are
continuous processes. Almost all eligible voters have been provided Electoral
Photo Identity Cards and the new system is providing PVC based Voter Cards. Our
focus is to increase enrollment of voters from time to time and to fructify the
theme of the Election Commission of India i.e. "No voter is left out".
This Website is an attempt at fulfilling our duty and commitment to reach out to
all stakeholders. It contains useful, informative and educational electoral
material which will be handy for public in helping building a stronger
democratic system. This is an ongoing process and we look forward to the willing
cooperation from all stakeholders.
